I guess this is where I talk about myself, what I do, and what I can do for you.

I'm Anna, a multidisciplinary designer and marketing + communication strategist. I have a bachelor's degree in design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. I'm currently working freelance and my recent projects span from social media strategy and content planning, to web design and identity building.

I started in graphic design because I was always the artsy kid who couldn't paint, but also enjoyed communication and visually interpreting stories. Throughout my degree I found that my passion lay more in the communication side of the work. I still take on design projects, and enjoy projects where I build a brand, their visual identity and their voice, or projects where I am creating a new way for a brand to reach its target audience.

Making the shift to marketing and communication has allowed me to use my copywriting and communication skills mixed with my design background and design eye. I've enjoyed building social media strategies, updating brand messaging to better attract potential leads, and creating assets with consistent voices, messaging and appearances.

My multidisciplinary background sometimes leads to people not thinking that an art kid can be a good marketer, but to that I say "who better to help you craft a message, that the person who understands the message so well they have the ability to visually interpret it."

1. I'm half Norwegian & half Serbian.
2. I moved countries 6 times before the age of 18.
3. I love any kind of puzzle, word puzzles, number puzzles or a really good quiz.
4. I'm obsessed with interior design, and my living room is ever-changing.
5. I am a plant mom with a constant growing collection, but somehow still struggle to keep them alive.
